I'm Emily Louise! A Cleveland Boudoir Photographer who specializes in fine art boudoir photography in the Northeast Ohio region.
I am so excited you are here and I cant wait to take a moment to introduce myself! My name is Emily Smith and I have been a Boudoir Photographer in Northeast Ohio since 2017. Curiosity for photography sparked at an early age for me. But it took many years of exploring the different avenues that photography offers before I fell in love with Boudoir.
When I met my husband, Andrew, in 2013 he was beginning his journey as a full time wedding photographer. Following his passion to build a business where he could do what he loved was so incredible to witness. Capturing beautiful moments while creating an unforgettable experience can be such a beautiful thing to share with the world.
One day, in the beginning of our relationship, Andrew picked up his camera and said ‘Hey Babe, why don’t I get a couple of pics of you in that cute black outfit you wore the other day?’ And by outfit, I mean it was my favorite black thong and stockings. I responded with immediate hesitance. But also, I was flattered and very intrigued! Still, I was unsure of how I would feel in front of the camera while feeling so exposed and vulnerable. With his confidence and encouragement, I warmed up to the idea and I am so glad I did! Turns out, finding confidence through that vulnerability is the most empowering thing I have ever done.
When I first saw the image he captured I could not believe that it was me. I was shocked! I had never seem myself in that confident sexy way. To this day, it is still one of my favorite images he’s taken of me because it represents the start to this beautiful boudoir journey.
I am so grateful I have found my ‘thing’ to share with the world. Boudoir is so very special to me. I get to do what I love and I feel like I am only just beginning. I have so many boudoir dreams up my sleeve and I can not wait to make them come to life. I couldn’t do it without the love and support of so many beautiful people in my life.
Thank you so much for being here.
Xox, Emily
